Three Hummock Island is best reached by air.  The island has two airstrips.  Flights can be arranged from mainland Australia or local airstrips in North West Tasmania.  Once you land on the island a transport fee of $50 each way will apply, to transfer you from the airstrip to your accommodation.

By Plane from Lilydale Airport, Melbourne
If you are travelling from Melbourne we recommend contacting Roger Merridew at Lilydale Airport.  Roger has flown into Three Hummock Island many times; he knows the island and its airstrips well (as do his colleagues).
